Terms of Service

Welcome to ChoreWars! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ChoreWars mobile application ("App") and any related services provided by Sanjeev Tiwary ("we," "us," or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ChoreWars, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

ChoreWars is a gamified chore tracking application designed for couples. The App allows you to:

• Create and track household chores
• Earn experience points (XP) for completing chores
• Create and redeem custom rewards
• Communicate with your partner via in-app messaging
• View activity history and statistics

3. Account Registration

To use ChoreWars, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Create an account using a valid email address via Google or Apple Sign-In
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your account credentials secure

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Partner Connection

ChoreWars is designed for use with a partner. When you connect with a partner:

• Both users can view shared chores, rewards, and activity
• Messages between partners are stored and visible to both parties
• Either partner can unpair at any time through Settings

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Upload malicious content or attempt to breach security
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App
• Impersonate another person or entity

6. Content Ownership

Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you create in the App (chores, rewards, messages). By using the App, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

Our Content: The App, including its design, features, and branding, is owned by ChoreWars and protected by intellectual property laws.

7. XP and Rewards

Experience points (XP) and custom rewards within ChoreWars:

• Have no real-world monetary value
• Cannot be exchanged, sold, or transferred outside the App
• May be modified or reset at our discretion
• Are intended for entertainment purposes between partners

8. Subscription and Payments

ChoreWars offers subscription plans to access premium features:

• Individual Plan: $2.50 per person/month
• Couple Plan: $4.00 per couple/month

Payments are processed via the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Termination

You may stop using ChoreWars at any time by deleting your account through Settings → Unpair.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that harms other users or the service.

10. Disclaimers

ChoreWars is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• All features will always be available
• Data will never be lost (please maintain backups of important information)

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChoreWars shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of ChoreWars after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India (Jharkhand), without regard to conflict of law principles.
